Mardaleishvili Medical Center uses transoral laser microsurgery to treat benign and malignant tumors of the larynx, pharynx and oral cavity. This is a technique in which tumor tissue is excised by CO2 laser and surgical microscope through an endoscope (laryngoscope) inserted through  the oral cavity.

The main advantage of this method is that the operation is virtually bloodless, no scar is left on the skin as  the operation is done with special instruments inserted through the mouth, and most importantly, еhe operation is easily tolerated by patients, the period of stay in the clinic is short, usually no post-operation hospital visits are required.
